Nike SB celebrated Valentine’s Day by connecting with legendary artists Todd Bratrud and Sean Cliver to release the Nike SB Dunk Low Strangelove Skateboards (Regular Box), now available on NiceKicksShop. Todd has a history of being behind some of the most recognizable Nike SB colorways of all time and the Strangelove Dunk is another example of his creative prowess. Collaborations are quickly starting to pile up for the Nike SB division, especially for their popular Dunk silhouette which after receiving a high-profile makeover crafted by the hands of Paul Rodgriguez, is now switching gears for a low-top offering with Strangelove Skateboards. As much as these pairs are commemorative of Sean Cliver’s (the founder of the brand) love of skateboarding and graphics, they also serve as a full-circle moment for the designer’s “Nike envy” that he reflects on growing up not being able to afford the newest Swoosh models. This SB Dunk Low is composed of a pink velvet upper with suede overlays and a red velvet Swoosh. Strangelove branding on the tongue, insole, and translucent outsole completes the design.
